For over 50 years the lifeblood of the Social Centre has been its volunteers, we are so grateful for the support offered by our amazing team.

As an independent charity, we believe in the power of community, and with your help, we can make an even bigger impact. Volunteering with us is a chance to make new connections, enjoy yourself, and create positive change in Northchurch and beyond.

Whether you have an hour or two a month, or are looking for a more regular commitment, there’s a place for you! Here’s how you can get involved:

• Community Coffee Helper: chat with visitors at our Friday morning sessions

• Committee Members & Trustees: guide our charity’s mission and grow our impact

• Community Garden Volunteers: roll up your sleeves and help nurture our green spaces

• Events: organising, hosting, or helping out at events that bring joy to our neighbours

• Distribution of Leaflets/Newsletters: spread the word about the charity’s efforts, events, and the support we offer

• Handy Person: planting, fixing, or tidying - your help will ensure that our spaces are safe, inviting, and functional for all.
