NSC Community Coffee - Friday mornings

Every Friday between 9:30am - 12:30pm anyone from our community is welcome to come and enjoy hot drinks, biscuits (or cake!) along with good company, jigsaws, games and chat, and an activity most weeks. Find out more on our home page.

Allstars Academy

Opened in May 2011 and run by 2 former professionals, Allstars offer a wide range of classes for children and young people, including ballet , modern and tap, street, contemporary, musical theatre, gymnastics and drama. Berkhamsted Gardeners’ Society

Founded in 1975, Berkhamsted Gardeners’ Society aims to provide a variety of activities for those interested in all aspects of gardening. We hold talks, slide shows and meetings on a wide range of gardening topics at Northchurch Social Centre during the winter months. From Spring to Autumn we arrange visits to National and independent gardens and other places of horticultural interest. Berkhamsted & Tring Sewing Bee

The Berkhamsted & Tring Sewing Bee meets on a monthly basis in Northchurch at the Northchurch Social Centre. The £5.00 per session charge covers the cost of hiring the hall/tea/coffee. We do not provide tuition, but ask that members come along with their own sewing, dressmaking, quilting, knitting or crochet project. We are purely a social group, but we have already begun to share new skills and have all been inspired to see what other people are making. Tot Bop

Tot bop offer fun, funky and imaginative dance and creative movement classes for children aged between 1 and 9 years old. On a Wednesday morning, our classes are split into the following age groups: 

  • 9.30-10.05am Tiny Tots (age 1-2.5) 

  • 10.20-11.05am Baby Boppers (age 2.5 - rising 5)

U3A Dacorum

The Northchurch and Berkhamsted U3A offers an ideal opportunity for retired and semi-retired people to take part in various group activities, learn new skills, as well as the chance to take part in regular outings and make new friends.  We welcome new members and invite you to join us at our regular meeting once a month - we invite a visiting speaker and offer refreshments so please come and join us. U3A Dacorum Painting for Pleasure

Our group is for people who like to paint, or learn to paint - and share experiences. Members use different mediums, including watercolour, acrylic, pastels, crayons etc.  We welcome new people for up to 2 sessions on a trial basis, and request the usual payment made by members for each meeting.  If people would like to continue to paint with this group, they need to join U3A Dacorum.
